LOGIC & COHERENCE

“What must be true for anything to exist at all?”

Shadow: Suppression of novelty / Hyper-rigidity

Foundational Belief: Ontic Rune[s] believe that reality endures only through coherence. By preserving the fundamental structures that make existence intelligible, they safeguard the conditions upon which knowledge, life and meaning depend.

At the end of development, the individual no longer asks: Who am I? They ask: What allows anything to exist at all? Before one can ask what sustains reality, one typically must first survive identity, knowledge, ethics, value, loss and mortality. What structures make reality intelligible? What principles govern existence?

To SUSTAIN is not to prevent change, but to preserve the coherence that makes change possible. The Ontic Rune[s] understand reality as a continuous system of relationships, constraints and transformations whose parts may change radically while the whole remains intelligible. Worlds form and die- organisms develop and decay- matter changes form. Civilizations rise, transform and disappear. None of this is failure- change is part of a functioning universe.

The Ontic intervene when transformation becomes something more fundamental: when the relationships upon which a system depends become mutually incompatible and coherence itself begins to fail. Their purpose is not to preserve what exists exactly as it is, but to sustain the conditions under which anything can consistently exist at all.

The enemy of SUSTAIN is not change– it is contradiction.
